Here are a few interesting shots taken on the bay side of the island we stayed on. There was a very interesting “Lone Tree” about 200 yards out. The water was very shallow so we were actually able to walk all the way out to the tree to get some cool shots. Enjoy!

Just wanted to share a few shots from one evening in San Diego. Enjoy!

Several weeks back I spent the day in Miami with Jason Cohen. We met up with Riccis Valladares to hang and shoot for a bit. Here are a few shots from my street experience in Miami. Enjoy!

On our way back from the beach this summer we stopped off in Baton Rouge for a little treat. In all honesty it didn’t go all too well. James Charles actually puked all over the floor and all over the bathroom. Fortunately I was able to grab a couple of fun shots before I had to carry him away spraying down the place ;) My little man! The things you do for your kids!

I took these a little while back, but I did want to share them. We had so much fun taking Ashton to get his first hair cut. Such a good sport! Thanks to the ever amazing Amber Sonnier! She did such an amazing job (as always). Here are a couple of him and James Charles as well. Enjoy!

Well… not exactly, but I did want to share this image. I thought it was a really interesting way to showcase a tie sale.

Yes, that’s exactly what I mean. The day I missed my flight in Kansas City I had the opportunity to go on a shoot with my boy Jason Domingues. I almost died, but what you see is what you get. I shot this bride as she was shooting a shotgun out in the country.
Enjoy!

I wanted to share these images with you, but also share Mr. Woodly’s story. I’f you’ve seen the movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” there is a part that the character talks about the fact that if 1 thing changes in a situation the whole future would be different. I sort of took that to heart with this situation. I was flying back from KC several weeks back and missed check in by 3 minutes. Needless to say they didn’t let us check in for that flight. I went on standby with my buddy Jason. He got the next flight at 10a (original flight at 6:30a). I had the opportunity between flights to witness a fallen soldier being taken off of the plane in procession. A sad moment, but I stood back in amazement at the sudden silence and stillness of the airport as everyone stood at the windows and watched. I waited again on standby for the 4:30 flight. Well… I didn’t make that one either. I ended up having to stay an extra night. Exhausted, I called up my buddy Jason Domingues and he picked me up. I went with him on an evening shoot and got back totally dead from the long day. Flight was again an early one the next day so I tried to sleep. Woke early made the flight and made it home. My wife and kids were out so my mom picked me up at the airport. We went eat lunch (greek) which was a little hard for me because I was so tired. Finally, we made it home. As we pulled into the driveway here comes Mr. Woodly. I stopped him and asked if I could take his picture. He said “sure”. I got my shot, and as I said “Thank You!” and started to walk away he murmured “it’s hard”. I turned around and he started to cry. He explained to me that he was married to his wife for 52 years. About 3 months ago she passed away, and she was my best friend, he said. I paused quietly and listened to him tell his story going in and out of tears. He explained to me that he visits her grave everyday. He has been passing in front of my house for 3 months and I’ve never noticed. With the craziness of missing flights and such I guess it caused me to slow down and see what’s around me. I now see Mr. Woodly pretty regularly. I run out for a quick visit whenever he passes by. The two days of living in airports by myself was not fun, but the tradeoff was amazing! I hope we can all learn something from the love and dedication of Mr. Woodly.
Here are a few images from that day. Enjoy!
