The other day I was playing around with lights and just doing some test setups. I decided to text Rebecca and tell her that I have taken over the kitchen and be prepared for it when she got home from work. Needless to say you couldn’t really walk through the house because of my monstrosity of a setup in the kitchen. When they got home I wanted to take a few family portraits from a different perspective as opposed to the ones you see everyday. Well… Here is what I ended up with. Enjoy!
Now that I have the new site up and running and most of the little things are taken care of I can begin to focus on the actual content of the site. Just out of sure curiosity I’d love to hear what you would be interested in hearing, discussing, viewing, etc. here on my site.
I will obviously continue to post my same old personal stuff and my thoughts here and there on top of my random iPhone shot of my kids and what not, but I want to know what would you would like to see? What do you want to hear? What do you want to discuss? I’m open to suggestions and I’m hoping to get them! I don’t have all the answers, but I’d love to get some discussions going. Topics can be anything from photography, design, software, ideas, technology, technique, locations, discussion, personal, equipment, behind the scenes, involvement and so on!
Let’s hear it!

I would love to see some behind-the-scene stuff. Not like how did you do everything in this picture, but more like I shot this with this lens, f-stop, and 3 lights…basic stuff. Reviews would be cool as well!

I’d love to see some more behind the scenes type stuff… videos, photos, blogs, etc. I love that kind of stuff.

As you know (or maybe not) we recently moved into a new studio. In the foyer of the studio we have a nice “chill” area where we meet with clients, have imaging previews, and the ever so occasional sushi with Daniel on the love seat while watching “America’s Next Top Model”. Ahem… but anyway…. We ordered several large prints to show off our photographic work. My favorite is the 30″x60″ metallic print of Amber. Such a stunning image. Amber does all of my styling work. She also was responsible for the most recent work of Megan Oliver. Amber is one of those few collage friends that seem to stick around and keep in touch. Soooo amazing to work with. I really enjoying having her to communicate with and tell me when I have a bad idea! haha! I love dat guh! Here she is…
