Now that I have the new site up and running and most of the little things are taken care of I can begin to focus on the actual content of the site. Just out of sure curiosity I’d love to hear what you would be interested in hearing, discussing, viewing, etc. here on my site.
I will obviously continue to post my same old personal stuff and my thoughts here and there on top of my random iPhone shot of my kids and what not, but I want to know what would you would like to see? What do you want to hear? What do you want to discuss? I’m open to suggestions and I’m hoping to get them! I don’t have all the answers, but I’d love to get some discussions going. Topics can be anything from photography, design, software, ideas, technology, technique, locations, discussion, personal, equipment, behind the scenes, involvement and so on!
Let’s hear it!

Believe it or not, this video is a representation of virtually every client experience with design projects. I’ve stumbled across this video and just had to post it! Don’t get me wrong… we have lots of great clients, but even some of the good clients just don’t get it. An easy change to them can take 4 hours not to mention “clean and crisp” to me is something totally different to them. All in all… this video is perfect for putting those situations into perspective to anyone who is curious. Enjoy!

Don’t worry… I’m not quitting or anything ;) Maybe it isn’t that important, but it is special to me ;) If you haven’t noticed yet I made a few modifications to the website.
Here is a quick list for reference:
1. I combined the “thoughts” and “personal” page. No more personal page. Too many people complained of having to check both, so I figured it would be better to have it all in one page. The new page is “thoughts“.
2. I’ve added a “downloads” page. This is for a quick link and reference for my monthly desktops, and whatever else I could conceive of putting there.
3. I’ve added social bookmarking. If you haven’t noticed this then you are blind or you need to update your prescription ;) Directly under the post bar there are a few small icons. If you are a social bookmaker then I don’t need to explain, but if you aren’t you can click one and see where it takes you.
4. I’ve updated my RSS to Feedburner. If you are currently subscribing to my RSS you may want to update your subscription. That that the current one has any issues with it… I’m just anal as if the changes I made don’t actually work for some people, or whatever… I’m stupid ;) I simply switched to Feedburner to track my subscriptions. I’m a stats freak!
5. I’ve added a new link category called “My Stuff”. This category is for my personal projects outside of my site. 2 of them are in the coming soon stage (i wonder why). These are two very top secret projects. I’m really excited about them and hoping to be launching them soon. They are both still in the design and development stages and hope to be launching them by this fall. Maybe I’ll have a launch party… maybe not ;) Check this and other things I like on my links page.
6. I’ve added a new “Monthly Desktop” for this month. You can get it on the downloads page. I’m hoping to be posting a new video soon (as soon as I get the files)
I’d like to give out a little shout out to my buddy Daniel for doing the coding behind my updates. He works with me at Crucé and is also helping me with my new special projects. The cool thing is he owes me a couple of favors, and I’m holding the design of his wedding album over his head till he finishes my stuff ;)
Thanks Daniel!!!
One last thing… I’m really wanting to change the background image on my site, but I’m stumped for ideas. Any suggestions?

how about one of ur poster images for a background?

get James Charles to make you a backdrop… you can do many things once he’s "done" with his part.

Hello everyone! I hope you had a great Easter!I’m doing a bit of spring cleaning on the back-end of the site. We are currently moving the site over to a new server. You may experience a bit of down time here or there and possibly a few bugs pop up. Please be patient with us… this new server is going to be a lot more reliable and a bit faster! You may have already noticed that the new video didn’t make the transfer (and possibly a few other things here and there). I’m currently reuploading it as i type and should be back online soon. If you notice any bugs with the site please let me know. I’ll take e-mails or comments on this post.Have a great week!!!

Well… I haven’t quite made updates to this site, but… We have made updates to Crucé! An updated jamieorillion.com.s26257.gridserver.com is expected some time in the near future…. not a new design, but a few house cleaning issues and efficiencies! For now you can check out the new updates at PrintPhotoWeb.com

We are beginning the work for the “Fire Youth Ministry” project. We are doing complete packaging for these guys from photography to identity, cd, posters, and website. Here are a couple of shots from the photo shoot.
And yes… the first image is of a Roman Catholic Priest! He is the lead singer!

As you can see i finally have my new website up and running. If you find any bugs please let me know. Websites are always works in progress. I’m so excited to have this new site. The main reason is… it is finally coded for real. I always coded my sites myself, which i’m sure you noticed. I always coded my sites to get it to look good on my screen or my monitor and never really concerned myself with cross browser configurations bla bla bla… quite frankly because I don’t know what the hell i’m doing when it comes to code. That is why I design websites with a design partner. My wonderfully joyful friend Daniel took care of that for me. Compared to me… he is a code genius!
I’ve been really busy with tons of shoots and design work on top of my "real" job (which i love). I have a ton of great new stuff that i will be posting very soon. With the new site design I am going to attempt to keep it updated regularly and keep you informed on as much info as i can. I will also attempt to be a little more informative in my post about the shoots. Unfortunately I often times post for the sake of posting and don’t have much time to really write much so it has always been a quick thing… ex: picture – "photo shoot for album artwork". What kind of post is that??? I know… a sucky one :) So… hopefully this new site will keep me motivated to being a bit more descriptive.
I would love to know what you think about the new site, and even to know if you are coming by to check it out! So PLEASE, PLEASE! COMMENT! It helps me to know that there are people alive who come to my site. My stats are promising, but comments are something to be desired. Anyway… enough of my rant… Here is to a new beginning!
- Thanks again to Daniel of Crucé Design for coding my site. Check him out and give him props!

I would love to see some behind-the-scene stuff. Not like how did you do everything in this picture, but more like I shot this with this lens, f-stop, and 3 lights…basic stuff. Reviews would be cool as well!

I’d love to see some more behind the scenes type stuff… videos, photos, blogs, etc. I love that kind of stuff.
