Just wanted to share a shot from the Fuji X-E1. I’m pretty impressed with this little camera. A few things I’d love to see improved, but overall it’s a great street camera for me. This image is straight out of the camera at iso 6400… no editing here. Thanks to Jason Cohen for putting up with me at dinner while I tested this bad boy!
I was asked again this year to shoot a short documentary for Opelousas Lighthouse Mission for their luncheon. The video is used throughout the year for promotion and awareness of the mission. The video pretty much speaks for itself. There is contact info for the mission at the end of the video if you feel moved to help in any way.
Over the past several months I had the opportunity to work with Congressman Charles Boustany and his amazing crew on the campaign trail. Several shoots and many different cities later I’m happy to congratulate the Congressman on his ReElection! The images were used in both print and digital media. You can see images used on his campaign site www.charlesboustany.com. Below are a few of my favorites from the campaign.
A couple of weeks ago I had the honor of shooting an engagement session for a couple of friends that I haven’t seen in nearly 12 years. It was so great catching up and spending time with these guys. Brooke and Jerard are so special to me. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I had capturing them.
On July 26th we had our 4th child and second little girl. London Marie Orillion was born weighing in at 10.0 lbs and 22.5″ long. It is such a joy to experience. The thought of “4” has always seemed a bit daunting, but seeing how they all interact with each other and the love that is shared through our family is without a doubt special. I am so blessed to have the family that I do.
Here are a few of my favorite shots of that I captured on the special day. I wanted to thank Jason Cohen for coming by and taking the shot of Rebecca, London, and I. It’s not often that I’m on that end of the camera, but it is good to know that you have great friends that will help you make sure you are part of the moment.
All shots captured with the Nikon D800 and 35mm f2.8.
