A couple of months back I did a shoot with my friends at BBR Creative for Cox Communications featuring Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets for a promotional campaign. We shot in New Orleans at the New Orleans Arena with about 15 minutes to shoot stills, but I was very pleased with the results. I wanted to share an image and a couple grabs from the Cox website.
Enjoy!
Image was shot with film on a Leica M4.
I hope you enjoy it!

I feel like I keep starting my posts with “several months back”, but it seems that must just be the nature of how most posts are going to happen. Things are busy which is great, but it makes it so much harder to post. I can’t post all projects, and choose not to post others (just to be honest). Most of my commercial work however typically coin-sides with a launch of a campaign or something of that nature so I have to wait a bit to post. This is such the case with this shoot. I had a shoot for St. Ann Church in Mamou, La. which was used in the design and content of their recent website launch. You can check out their website HERE. The site was developed by my buddy Daniel over at Crucé Design. Here are a few of my favorites from that day.
Enjoy!
I just have to be honest. This was one shoot that I was extremely excited about. I was so excited to be shooting for something that is so relevant to the culture here in southern Louisiana. If I would be from anywhere else I probably would have thought it would have been interesting, but this particular job was truly an honor to be a part of. Everyone at The Best Stop was so welcoming. No matter how much I may have gotten in the way they were more than happy to accommodate me. These guys are working on a new website and will have online ordering available soon. These images were commissioned specifically for that purpose. Hungry yet? Anyway… I just wanted to share a few of the images from that day.
Enjoy!
James Charles has officially ROCKED his first year in school. Don’t forget about those first day of school pics! Pre-K is officially over and was a huge success. We will definitely miss the teachers he had this year, but I’m sure we will have great ones next year as well. I just wanted to share an image I took of him this past year in front of an amazing truck full of hood ornaments. Great job James Charles! Here’s to Summer!!!
Image taken with Leica M6.
Last week I had a really fun shoot with the Meaux family. These guys love family. They without a doubt enjoy each other. One of my favorite parts of the session was at the very beginning when Jason pulled out an ice cold beer for me to try. Little did I know it was La 31 beer from Bayou Teche Brewing. I had just a few days before launched their new website as a collaborator with Crucé. I shared with him that I recently did a shoot for those guys and was stoked to shoot over beers. I just wanted to share a few of my personal favorites from that day.
Enjoy!
Last week I had the opportunity to spend a few days with the Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows order in Shreveport, La. These ladies had such an amazing spirit and joy about their lives. The images are going to be used in conjunction with their new website design by Crucé which will be launching within the next month or so. I was honored to be a part of it along with Jason Cohen. The sisters were from all over the world and spoke many different languages which was really fun to hear and interesting to translate.
The first couple of images were shot with the Nikon D3 and the rest were shot on the Leica M8.
Enjoy!
This summer I had the opportunity to spend some time on a mission trip which was local here in the US. I shot stills and captured audio interviews of both participants and recipients.
Here is the video I put together for the end of that week:
RISE (Rising In Service to Everyone) is a weeklong overnight work retreat program designed to teach young people to live a Christ-centered life of service. Over the course of a week, teams of high school youth will visit select worksites in the community and spend the day doing repairs, painting, yard work, clean-up, etc.
I had the opportunity to be with Paul Hood for a few shows last week. Paul is an amazing musician and worship leader. We were able to grab these shots really quick between sets. Enjoy:
