Recently I had the opportunity to work on a short video documentary project with Lighthouse Mission in Opelousas. Â Lighthouse Mission is a men’s shelter/transitional. The guys there were so eager to share their story in hopes to set an example and prove that there is hope in the darkest of moments in life.
Here is their story:
This documentary project was shot over a 1 and 1/2 Day period and edited overnight for the Veritas retreat. Â I haven’t tweaked anything since the first rough edit, but wanted to get something up.
This was all shot with the Nikon D7000 in mostly very low light conditions with very high ISO Ranges.
Camera:
Nikon D7000
Lenses:
50mm f1.8
24-70mm f2.8
70-200mm f2.8
35mm f2
Audio:
Zoom H4N
Rode NTG-2 Shotgun
Sennheiser EW 100 G3 Lapel
This summer I had the opportunity to attend and shoot the RISE Mission work week retreat. Â For the retreat I shot stills and a few video clips to produce a documentary of the week. I spent the week shooting alongside Daniel Kedinger who also produced a separate video as well. Â This video was shot all on the Nikon D3 for stills with short motion clips shot on the Nikon d90. Â Audio was captured with the Zoom H4N. Â It was a fun week. Â Check out the video.
Enjoy!
Today is Ashton’s Birthday. Â He is now officially 2 years old. Â I tried to get him to do a little video for you guys, but it failed miserably. Â Here is a failed attempt at trying to get Ashton to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Â I think the A, B, C’s come out in there. Â My favorite part that makes me laugh is at the very end. Â That kid is something else!
